q2

My summer internship at Q2 gave me the opportunity to learn about both the tech industry and corporate design. I was given the freedom to set my schedule, work on a plethora of projects, solve real design problems, do research, and present my findings to Q2 leadership. The 12 week program was an unforgettable learning experience that has equipped me for a career in corporate design.

I was given the incredible opportunity to design the visual concept for Q2’s annual client conference, CONNECT. I was beyond excited to see my design come to life in an actual environment. However, due the the COVID-19 pandemic, the event did not take place. Nonetheless, I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the branding of Q2’s largest annual event.

I was continually encouraged to iterate and come up with new ideas and design solutions. Here was another visual concept that I created in the process:

Additionally, I began an exploration into a new Q2 branding identity system. Q2 will be adopting the new domain “q2.com” in sometime in 2020, which presents an opportunity to refresh its current identity. Some information has been omitted for privacy.

Another large component of my internship involved market research, specifically surrounding Generation Z and Millennial banking needs. This was a collaboration with the Marketing Communications Intern at Q2. Click here to view the PPTX file.
