 This project was for a design history class, in which we had to take a design movement and use it to create an exhibition in a design conference. We chose the British Arts & Crafts movement, which was widely popular in Britain in the late 19th century. Its tenants were grounded in anti-industrial sentiment, believe that traditional craftsman design was superior to the shoddy design of early industrialism. One prominent designer, named William Morris, wrote a lot of literature pertaining to the ideology of Arts & Crafts, including his famous print work in the book The Kelmscott Chaucer. In this project, we had to create a design agency (Round Table Design Co.) that was specialized in our movement of choice, and then develop the company’s branding, advertisements for the exhibition, as well as a scale model of the exhibition space that used the tenets of the Arts & Crafts movement in a room design.

This project was a team effort. However, because of my experience in 2D work, I focused my energy into branding & identity, while other team members executed the 3D space. Here are the graphic design works I worked on:
