Brief:
This project tasked the design team with developing a new look for ShipStation’s UK, Australia, and Canada sites based off ShipStation’s rebrand completed in late 2020. We juggled the challenges of keeping the homepage short (scroll time is precious!), using a limited brand identity in creative ways, crafting a story for international customers that aren’t as features-driven as in the US, all while retaining authority as the leading shipping e-commerce solution.
My role in the web overhaul included developing a new homepage, features page, partners/integrations page, and pricing page, as well as all supporting graphics. (The mockups shown are UK-specific. Other geos follow the same format, just with geo-specific graphics and copy.)
ShipStation is a multi-carrier, multi-channel shipping solution used to expedite the shipping process for e-commerce merchants. A major 2021 initiative is global expansion and developing international brand equity, which proved the need to update the international geo-specific pages. The ShipStation UK webpage (the largest geo outside of the US) can be seen at shipstation.com/uk.
